Police reached Jalesar Road station on information about the death of a woman after being cut off from a train

On the insistence of going to her maternal home, the woman Pinky (30) committed suicide by getting cut off from the train. Before dying, Pinky threw three-month-old innocent baby girl Baby and two-year-old daughter Sakshi away from the track after seeing the train approaching. Baby died of head injuries. After this accident, the woman’s husband fled from the spot.
A quarrel was going on for two days between Sushil Kumar, a resident of Mohalla Aherian, and his wife Pinky, Pinky was adamant on going to her maternal home. Even on Tuesday evening, she had left the house with Sakshi and the baby. When her husband came to know, he reached village Budhaich and stopped her. Even after a lot of persuasion, she did not agree, so Sushil went home with Sakshi. Later, the police, who reached the information, also explained a lot to Pinky and left her home.
On Wednesday morning, she left home with her husband and children to go to her maternal home in Panipat and both reached Jalesar Road railway station. There too Sushil tried to pacify him. It is being told that after the altercation here, Pinky started walking on the railway track with the children. Sushil was also following him with the bag. Meanwhile, Sampark Kranti Express arrived from Tundla side. The woman’s husband and others raised an alarm. As the train approached, Pinky threw both the daughters out of the track and herself stood in front of the train. The GRP is looking for Pinky’s husband, who absconded after the incident.
The police handed over Sakshi to her grandmother after first aid. Pinky’s parents have been informed. The GRP outpost in-charge says that the death of a woman was reported after she was hit by a train. Her two-year-old girl was found unconscious at the scene of the incident and a three-month-old girl died due to head injury. The dead body of the woman was also found at some distance. The dead bodies of mother and daughter have been sent to Aligarh for postmortem.
